Located 10 minutes south of Fort Lauderdale and 25 minutes north of Miami is Hollywood, Florida.  The Florida city may not be full of movie stars, but it has a lot to offer anyone looking to move there or visit.

Incorporated in 1925, Hollywood Florida, also known as the “Diamond of the Gold Coast”, is a city located in southeast Broward County on Florida’s southern Atlantic Coast

The average temperature is between 68 degrees and 83 degrees.

Hollywood was founded in 1925 and is now the 12th largest city in Florida.

Hollywood is filled with about 60 parks, seven golf courses, and sandy beaches that run for miles.  The famous Hollywood Beach is known for its great broadwalk that extends about 2.5 miles along the Atlantic Ocean.

Hollywood has steadily grown into a dynamic business hub with more than 10,000 companies in the City. Approximately 80 percent of Port Everglades, the world’s second-busiest cruise port, is located in Hollywood and the port is home to Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas, the largest cruise liners in the world.

Historic Downtown Hollywood is a lively commercial, entertainment and cultural arts district. Highlighted by the Artspark at Young Circle and dozens of bars and restaurants, Downtown Hollywood hosts hundreds of concerts, music festivals, dance exhibitions, shows, art exhibits, and much more.
